Educational Talks
Learn about planting crops-summertime is when our pumpkin seeds go in, so they are ready for the fall. Learn about how the tractors prepare the soil and plant the seeds, so we can enjoy yummy pumpkin pie in the fall.
Learn how bees pollinate our apple trees and raspberry bushes, how they create honey in their hives, how we extract the honey right here on the farm, and how the honey ends up in our friendly little honey bears.
Learn how sheep are sheared in the spring, how the wool is cleaned and spun, and how the wool becomes yarn.
|
Farm Tour
Go on an exciting tour of our farm via tractor drawn wagon. Our tractors are antique John Deere tractors that have been fully restored. They even give you that well known “Pop, pop, pop when they are started. See all 120 acres of the orchard, visit the bee hives, learn about our oak tree that is over 230 years old, and enjoy hearing about the history of our apple orchard.
